4 distinct features of the 2021 Tesla Model X

Tesla’s Model X debuted nearly five years ago. Yet, it is still one of the most coveted cars in the automobile industry. The Tesla X 2021 is based on the iconic Tesla sedan, the Model S. Apart from the show-stopping design, this Tesla Model X offers impressive performance on all fronts. Here are some of the top features to know about this car.

Trims
The Tesla X 2021 is available in two trim levels: Plaid ( also known as Performance trim) and Long Range. All the models are all-wheel-drive. The Long Range models have an estimated range of 360 miles. This trim offers pretty standard features. The estimated range of the Plaid or Performance trim is 340 miles. The features of this trim level are nearly the same as Long Range, but with added superlative performance.

Pricing
The purchase price for the Long Range trim of the 2021 Tesla Model X is $81,190. The Plaid model is priced higher with a purchase cost of $119,990. With added features and destination price, the overall cost may increase for both trims.

Overhauled design
The Tesla X 2021 has got a design refresh on the exterior as well as the interior. The exterior design is sleeker with cleaner lines. The interior cabin has an infotainment system that has been completely overhauled from the previous designs. However, it still retains the classic buttonless design. The most unique aspect of the Model X is the glass roof/windshield. It seamlessly runs from the hood base over the front seat, giving a never-ending view of what is in the front as well as above. Moreover, the newer model comes with a square steering wheel, quite similar to F1 race cars.

Superlative performance
The Long Range models have the standard twin electric motors for an all-wheel-drive setup. This gives a super-swift performance with an acceleration of zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds (This is what Tesla claims). The Plaid can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The high-end electric motors give the Model X trims their electrifying acceleration.
